Stand up Straight how many times did your Mother tell you that, while you’re at it hold your head high, take your hands out of your pockets and for goodness sakes SMILE.

Sounds easy even a little silly but trust me how you represent yourself is all about how you carry your image on your chassis.  Your stance speaks volumes as to how you feel about yourself. Confidence begets confidence, grouchy gets grouchier and anger well that is a whole other topic. Angry people make other people angry which, we have too much of in this world. I always use Carol Burnett’s trick on angry people: find something to compliment them about them even if you have to make it up and share it with them. For example you have the most beautiful green eyes, more than likely you will break the chain of their negative thoughts and shift them into a better mindset and watch the ripple effect unfold right before your eyes.

Truth is you not only affect the way people see you, you absolutely influence how they see and feel about themselves.

Imagine, Improved Memory, Improved Mood, a Taller, and Slimmer more Powerful Appearance. Not to mention better breathing, reduced neck and back pain and better digestion. Image is your biggest and most important Asset, which is a combination of 3 elements Appearance, Body Language and Voice. Appearance is all about your style, the colors you choose to wear, the cut and fabric of your fashion choices and where you draw the viewers’ eye. Important note, check out where your eye goes in the mirror before finalizing your outfit of the day, because that is where others eyes will go as well – is that where you want them to look?

Body Language will either engage or repel – so take up space it exudes confidence and is magnetic. At all costs DO NOT make yourself look smaller!  Lastly your Voice the pace and pitch are the finishing touches to your image style. Be like Goldilocks and the 3 Bears – not too big – not too small – go for just right.

We already know the significance of first impressions and how lightening fast they are created. But get this according to studies; people remember 10% of what they hear, 20% of what they read and a whopping 80% of what they see or do. I know you are getting the picture and message loud and clear.
